Duddingston House

The restoration of Duddingston House has created a unique venue for a variety of companies today. Both the building and the ‘Brand’ have been created to inspire and invigorate both visitor and occupiers.

Duddingston House has become a home for companies involved in property development, architecture, design, fashion design and the Creative Arts. It is also used as a unique venue to bring people together to debate issues of the day, promote design in Scotland, and to forge new partnerships in business.

The house was originally designed as a gathering place and today many different initiatives, ideas and projects are created within a common theme – “Design in business has value – here we can empirically calculate that value”.

Duddingston House Properties is an example of one such venture which works in partnership with a private equity house investing in many of the new businesses located in the building. It is intended to expand current investment in new ventures over the next 5 years.
